Trade show calls for industry input

The opinions of print industry experts are being sought for the first Digital Print UK trade show, Large Format Review writes.

Taking place from 18th -20th September in Birmingham, the organisers of this new show want to provide visitors with a "unique and valuable" experience while demonstrating how the industry can become more profitable. Hence they are asking peers and providers what they would most like to see at the show.

It is being designed "from a visitors' perspective, rather than that of a show organiser," said Alan Caddick, senior marketing manager for the Digital Print Show, who is inviting feedback and input from those in the profession, possibly encompassing distributors, suppliers and graphics printers.

The idea behind the show is to provide British printers the opportunity to see a range of products and services while gaining advice about new investments.

"This is the UK show for the UK market," Mr Caddick added.  "It is a perfect opportunity for companies to both conduct business and learn how to 'drive profits with digital print'."

Mr Caddick hopes, according to Output Magazine, that the trade show will provide real value to those who are thinking about investing in the print industry or who are already operating within the profession.

The organisers promise three days of advice, live working demos and other surprises across the three day event.
