HP hits 30,000 mark for Latex sales

The line may have only been launched in 2008, HP has already shipped 30,000 Latex printers. These machines have proven a hit with users thanks to their wide range of applications, speed and eco-friendliness.

Latex machines can produce prints up to 40 percent quicker than eco-solvent models as they require no drying time. This means businesses benefit from quicker turnaround times and make significant energy and cost savings. The inks release no fumes, which means that they are not only kinder on the environment but they are suitable for use in jobs where health considerations are paramount, such as products for schools and hospitals. They are ideal for use with fabrics and textiles, vehicle wraps, wallpaper and floor graphics and can be left unlaminated due to the scratch-resistance of the print.

HP has expressed this achievement as ‘phenomenal’, and so do we! Perfect Colours alone has sold over 140 Latex machines since we first began stocking the range.

Currently, the portfolio consists of the 310, 330, 360, and 370 machines, all of which are perfect for companies expanding their offering into large-format production. Joining them are the high-volume 3100 and 3500 units.
