Canon's Oce ColourStream 3900 will act as the main focal point for Canon's stand at the Hunkeler Innovationdays, which is set to take place from February 11th - 15th.
Based in Lucerne, the Innovationdays exhibition will showcase new printing products from around 70 brands. According to Hunkeler.ch, the event 'brings clarity to current trends' and helps the industry 'understand' new products - be they wide-format, paper or vinyl printers or plotters.
Canon will use the event to prove the worth of the latest model from the ColourStream series. The 3900's output speed should impress in particular, standing at 127m per minute. Such its is speed and capability that the printer will be the centrepiece will churn out (in real time) the changing pages of the show's daily magazine, 'Viscom's Paper Report'.
Graphicrepro.co.za revealed: 'This application serves to highlight to graphic arts customers the benefits delivered from a new generation of inks, comprehensive workflow solutions for book and colour document production and the unique productivity gains from being able to print during both ramp up and ramp down times of the print engine.'
The head of Canon Europe's commercial print group, Peter Wolff, said he was "delighted" to be exhibiting at Innovationdays. He added that he would be there to "demonstrate Canon's commitment to high-level commercial printing".
