Nominations are being sought for the Digital Signage Expo's Content Awards show, outputmagazine.com reports.
The event, which recognises creative literary talent in the industry, is taking place on February 12th 2014. As such, organisers are calling for nominations to be submitted by October 4th.
Projects that were installed between November 1st 2012 and November 1st 2013 will be considered, evaluated against a set of criteria as stipulated by the judging panel. These include creative relevance and intended mission.
Production quality is another criterion by which the entries will be assessed. This concerns 'the extent to which the overall appearance and impact of the content meet or exceeds standards for quality production', according to digitalsignageconnection.com.
It thus stands to reason that any company wishing to be in with a chance of winning should ensure they use or have used reputable poster printers, reprographics professionals and other print suppliers.
Commenting on the show and nominations, Richard Lebovitz, editorial director at the Digital Signage Expo's information portal, said: "DSE's Content Awards honour innovative and compelling content, whether a one-way communication or interactive.
"The judges will be looking for content created for digital signage and digital out-of-home networks that is as engaging as the technology running behind it is seamless and transparent."
