More than 300 wide format printers have been evaluated and compared in a new guide.
The 'Ultimate Guide Online', created by leading print market research company Infotrends, makes it easy for consumers to ensure they invest in the right for printer for their needs.
Infotrends had already created similar guides for Roll-fed devices, cut-sheet devices, enterprise transpromo, multi-channel communications, variable data publishing, web-to-print solutions, print MIS and CDLP presses.
In an interview with prweb.com, the company's director of wide format printing consultation Tim Greene predicted that their new guide would prove particularly popular.
"Our research shows that companies that are interested in getting into wide format typically struggle with all of the various technology choices they have, which is why we have extended the Ultimate Guide platform to include the wide format digital printer market," he explained.
The guide contains side-by-side comparisons of printers from more than 40 vendors across the globe. Each printer is evaluated by a third-party analyst. Users can choose to access the basic guide for free or they can pay for a premium version with more information if they so wish.
