Most of our customers here at Perfect Colours have made serious investment in wide-format print production, but we know that many of you are also creating narrow-format commercial print. Even if you’re a sign-maker or display printer, we bet that your customers have asked you on a couple of occasions to fill out their commercial needs, too – so we’ve teamed up with Xerox to show you how to do so efficiently and profitably.
Best of all, this is a Perfect Colours event – so you won’t have competing resellers asking for your business. It’s our own idea, which means we’re making it all about you!
Booklets, flyers, business documents, short-run magazines and business cards are all high-margin applications you can add easily to the services you provide your customers already. Imagine bundling the roller banners and temporary floor graphics you already produce with A5 leaflets, business cards and brochures. We know that this would be a high-value package for any company heading to an exhibition – meaning great margins for you.
But we also understand that one of the barriers to entering the narrow-format market is knowing what equipment to invest in, particularly when it comes to software and finishing. That’s why we’re partnering up with Xerox for this open house event to help you plug the gaps.
Not at all – we’re also addressing the various print needs you might have within your own business. Whether it’s production schedules, management reports, quotations, invoicing or general paperwork, we’ll take the time to work out how to optimise your processes and save you money. So, if you’re inundated with paper or finding your internal print costs spiralling, come and we’ll work out how to save you some money.
The Xerox Open Day takes place on 15th September in Uxbridge. It’s an open door event, so you can turn up any time between 10am and 4pm to see how we can help your business produce commercial print products profitably.
First up is the Xerox office range. The Phaser 7800 is an A3 colour LED printer that supports a huge variety of media (up to 350gsm) and uses EA toner, extending its energy savings over conventional toner, just like its little sibling, the A4 Phaser 6020. Also on show are the office printers Work Centre 7225, the A3 MFP, and the Work Centre 7845, which adds Fax over IP and many plug-ins and apps for smart MFP production.
If you’re scaling up into copy-shop territory, check out the immensely powerful Xerox iGen 5. The iGen 5 prints onto such a huge range of media that it’s tough to list them all. As well as coated, uncoated, textured and specialty papers, it can handle recycled, transparent, card and label stocks and even some own-brand magnetic media. Best of all, it can even handle mixed-stock jobs for the creation of branded reports and other handsome-looking documents on the fly.
Speaking of media, Antalis has an enormous range of papers and materials for exactly this purpose – which is why they’ll be on hand, too, to answer your questions.
Always thinking ahead, we’ve also invited Morgana to show off – amongst other products – the CardXtra Plus. This nifty engine can whizz through 140 business cards per minute, trimming, cutting and creasing with excellent accuracy in multiple positions. On top of that they’ll introduce you to bookletmakers, binders, trimmers, folders, guillotines and laminators to make your narrow-format production as versatile as you need it to be!
Back to Xerox. You’ll want to see their superb software solutions, geared to give you the control and data delivery you need to make a real success of your new narrow-format business.
Check out XMPie, a multi-channel marketing control engine that lets you create campaigns with web-to-print and variable data across multiple customer touch-points in print and online. And if you’re in the game for a new DFE for your Xerox machine, we can talk you through Xerox Freeflow, which supports native PDF workflow to optimise production.
There really isn’t one. We know that our customers are looking keenly for new opportunities to make money at the moment and see narrow-format production as an affordable investment with fantastic returns. Plus, the usual Perfect Colours service and support is available across the range – as it is for our managed print service options, which we can also discuss on the day.
Interested? Fill out our registration form and we’ll set up a specific demonstration for your needs. We’ll be delighted to help out and explore how we can make you more money, or simply more efficient.
