The Omega 1 and 2 flatbed printers, featuring both flatbed and roll to roll printing technology carry the usual Durst reputation for advanced technology, great build quality and exceptional performance and are unique in combining Fine Art quality at production speeds. At a speed of 18 sq. meters per hour these printers will produce inkjet quality prints and billboard quality at 33sq.meters an hour. In Fine art mode with greyscale a resolution of 1728dpi can be achieved, higher than the competition and with the dual white configuration speeds of 10 sq. meters per hour can be attained again faster than its competitors. Uniquely the Omega range of printers can grow with your business, starting with a standard 4 colour configuration and the option to upgrade to a 6 colour configuration (light colours for finest graduations) with 2 channels for white. The Omega 1 and Omega 2 are also available in the PCA version for vibrant colours and a larger colour gamut thanks to the optional process colour addition of orange and violet. Grey is available for finest tones, especially for black and white artwork. Unlike other manufacturers this range of UV printers is designed for operator ease of use and requires no taping down to hold the work in place thanks to a strong vacuum along the whole length of the print bed. The left and right calibration gives accurate first time registration, saving time and money.
