Important Pre-Installation Checks for the Maintenance Cartridge
Due to abnormal vibrations during transportation or incorrect handling during the out-of-the-box procedure, some parts in the maintenance cartridge may become displaced. This can create a risk of damage to the printer’s internal components during installation or later operation.
To prevent any damage, it is essential to perform the following checks before installing the maintenance cartridge.
Checks to be performed
Please perform the following checks on the new maintenance cartridge before installation:
- Push the web wipe flag - Ensure it is correctly seated.
- Verify the ink collection unit - Confirm that the ink collection unit is fully inserted into the maintenance cartridge.
