Latex 300 and 500 Series

To help diagnose and resolve printer issues efficiently, follow the steps below to obtain and send your printer’s service plot

What You Need

  • The IP address of your HP Latex printer
  • The printer must be on and not in a fatal error state
  • A computer on the same network with web browser and email access
  • USB stick alternative if no email access

Accessing the Web Interface

  1. Enter printer IP in web browser
  2. Use credentials if prompted:
    Username: admin Password: admin
  3. Ignore security warnings for correct IP
  4. Troubleshooting:
    • Update browser
    • Try Chrome/Edge/Firefox

Latex 300/500 Series

  1. On printer panel: Settings > Connectivity
  2. Find IP address
  3. Enter IP in web browser
  4. Navigate to: Support > Service Support > Printer Information > All Pages
  5. Wait up to 5 minutes for loading

Saving the .mht File

Internet Explorer:

  1. Enable menu bar (right-click IE logo)
  2. File > Save As > .mht format

Google Chrome:

  1. Go to: chrome://flags
  2. Search "Save Page as MHTML"
  3. Enable and restart Chrome
  4. Save As > .mht option

⚠️ Note: .mht files not supported in Edge or Firefox Quantum
