Lift and door photos are very helpful. Please photograph inside the lift (showing dimensions), the lift doors, and any doors the machine will need to pass through. Include anything that looks tight or awkward.

Removal of Existing Machines
Engineers will only remove existing machines if pre-agreed with the sales team. This may not be possible depending on types of machinery and/or existing financial/service contracts. There may be a charge to remove or re-site existing equipment. If removal is agreed it will need to be confirmed in writing from the customer.

Power Supply
Will there be the correct power supply on the day?
Will there be sufficient power sockets available?
Is special power required (e.g. 2 x 16AMP)?
Has this been installed by a qualified engineer?
Will the correct power requirements for this device be in place, checked and signed off by a qualified electrician prior to installation?

Will a member of your IT team be available on the day?

TCP/IP connection available?
Can you provide networking information ahead of install?
Printer Network Details
If not using 3rd party RIP software (Caldera), can you install printer drivers ahead of engineer arrival?

Network photos save time on install day. A photo of your network switch, patch panel, wall socket, and the area where the printer will connect helps our engineer arrive fully prepared — reducing setup time significantly.

Please note: if you are supplying the computer hardware, you are responsible for the suitability and performance of that hardware platform. Please call for a pre-installation spec check if you require clarification.

Environment & Climate
Printer placement conditions affect performance and longevity
Printers must operate within manufacturer temperature and humidity specifications. Air conditioning units positioned directly above the final printer location are not advised — particularly for Latex devices. Please provide as much detail as possible.
Is there air conditioning in the room where the printer will be installed?
Is the AC unit positioned directly above the printer's final location?
Are conditions likely to change significantly depending on the time of year (no AC / seasonal variation)?

Is suitable media available on site to conduct tests on the unit?
Has a spare set of inks been ordered? (recommended)
