How to Use the Scan to OneDrive App
The Scan to OneDrive App enables users to navigate and scan to their SharePoint Online and OneDrive components within Office 365, including Team Sites. To access any cloud repository on your Xerox device, ensure the proxy is enabled.
Caution: To maintain security, enable Verification of SSL Certificates on your Xerox device. Without this, secure communication of sensitive information may be at risk.
- From the Xerox device control panel, touch Scan to OneDrive App.
- Enter your login credentials when prompted.
- Browse the directory listing Subsites, Document Libraries, and Folders. Use arrow keys or swipe gestures to scroll.
- Select your desired destination folder, then tap OK.
- Review and adjust Scan Destination settings if needed.
- To exit:
- For i-Series MFPs, press the Clear All button twice.
- For AltaLink or VersaLink MFPs, touch Home > Reset.
- To start scanning, select the Scan tab. Job status will display below the button, confirming success.
Note: Office 365 account with SharePoint Online access is required.
Xerox Cloud Apps: Step-by-Step Setup
Follow these steps to integrate Xerox Connect for SharePoint 365, Google Drive, and Workflow Central with your Xerox ConnectKey-enabled MFPs.
Step 1: Connect for Microsoft 365
- Go to the Xerox App Gallery and log in with your account.
- Navigate to the Devices tab and add your Xerox MFP if it’s not already listed.
- Click on the All Apps tab and select Connect for Microsoft 365.
- Click Subscribe, accept the EULA, fill billing info, and place the order.
- Check your email for purchase confirmation and access instructions.
- Install the app on your MFP and configure Single Sign-On (SSO) via Xerox Workplace Suite if required.
Step 3: Workflow Central
- Go to the Xerox App Gallery and log in.
- Subscribe to Workflow Central (or try the trial version).
- Install the app on your MFP. Ensure the device has internet access and EIP enabled.
- Configure SSO via Xerox Workplace Suite if required.
- Open the app on the device or portal to create workflows such as Audio Conversion, Translation, Data Redaction, or Handwriting Conversion.
- Save workflows for personal use or make them public for team collaboration.
