Caldera V9 and OS X Yosemite

Incompatibility Issues

According to Caldera, Version 9 of their RIP software will not work with the latest release of OS X10 (Yosemite). Perfect Colours and Caldera are requesting that any users running Caldera RIP Solutions on a Mac, not to update to OS X10.

The Caldera installation CD will refuse to install on the newly updated platform and current installations will become unresponsive. If anyone has updated to OS X10, you will have to wipe the hard drive and reinstall OS X9.

Working on a fix

Caldera are working quickly to fix these incompatibility issues, to avoid any printing issues like printing blank pages, and will inform users when a stable update has been released.
