The Federation of European Screen Printers Association (FESPA) has asked for nominees for its 2013 Hall of Fame.
FESPA wishes to include print heroes from around the world in this year's Hall of Fame and has asked for members of the print community to nominate who they think deserves a place. They will have until this Friday (March 1st) to do so, so must get in quick.
According to graphicrepro.co.za, the Hall of Fame helps to showcase print specialists from around the globe that inspire their peers on a daily basis. They should also display a level of excellence within their work - be it outdoor printing or pressing activities - and if included in the Hall of Fame, should view the accolade as a 'great achievement'.
Perks of winning a place include attending a special gala dinner in London, this June, in addition to being invited to all VIP FESPA events. What's more, they will received discounted rates at FESPA conferences, as well as winning a trophy and certificate, which will mark their achievement.
Those hoping to nominate someone should look out for a peer that is concerned with sustainability, provides outstanding service, is innovative in their thinking or who has pioneered a new form of technology, fespa.com suggested. Outside of that, they may simply have made an award-winning contribution to the industry as a whole.
