In the second half of 2015 HP will be releasing their highly anticipated Large Format PageWide printer. Based on HPs current range of PageWide printers and utilising both Thermal Inkjet technology and HP Pigment inks, the new machines will transform the print market for good.
Delivering both monochrome and colour prints at incredible speeds, the new PageWide machines will be in direct competition with existing LED Multifunctional printers. Superior speeds are achieved thanks to a static print bar spanning the width of the page with 200,000 print nozzles. The new technology also extends the time between service station cycles and enables sustained productivity.
Technical drawings, maps and posters in full colour and black and white are just a few of the applications HP PageWide technology can produce. Featuring the latest generation of HP pigment inks enables these machines to produce dark blacks and vibrant colours even on uncoated paper. While remaining smudge, moisture and fade resistant.
Build upon HP Thermal inkjet technology with integrated automated systems for servicing, nozzle compensation and calibration to help ensure consistent operation, PageWide technology will be a complete market game changer.
