Introducing the HP Latex 1500: low-cost superwide printing at your fingertips

The HP Latex range has become a mainstay of the interior decoration and outdoor graphics production markets since its introduction in 2008. Its water-based inks hit the spot for the stringent CSR requirements of small brand and large retailers alike, and operators report a number of advantages on the factory floor because of its improved environmental footprint – as well as the ability to finish jobs immediately without outgassing, as with solvent.

If you’re looking to push Latex production up into the 3.2m superwide category, have a gander at the brand new HP Latex 1500. For outdoor banners and graphics it can handle a whopping 74sq m/hr, or 45sq m/hr for SAV; it can even print textiles at 24sq m/hr, opening up a new range of interiors work.

But it’s not just about speed. Extras available with the Latex 1500 include the ability to print back-lits on both sides thanks to its double-sided day night kit, a roll-to-freefall option and an ink collector for porous media. This makes adds the customisation your business needs to the existing money-saving features you see throughout the Latex range, such as the Latex Ink Optimiser, on-board spectrophotometer and high-efficiency curing.
