HP have redesigned two of their bestselling DesignJet ranges, Z6 and Z9. They have set the bar higher than ever for large format graphics printing. Meet the new Z Series and discover quality redefined, productivity recalibrated and simplicity reimagined. Professional, high-definition prints can be produced faster than ever without compromising on quality – and the new printers are the first ever to feature their own integrated vertical trimmers.

Quality, redefined

The new Z6 and Z9 printers will enable you to deliver quality with confidence. Prepare to be impressed by the sharp details, and smooth transitions and gradients, even for challenging colour combinations, thanks to HP Pixel Control. Furthermore, there’s no need for light inks due to the new high-definition HP printheads with dual drop technology. They offer an expanded gamut with RGB HP Vivid Photo Inks, and the Z9s also feature an embedded spectrophotometer.

Productivity, recalibrated

You’ll be able to print up to 2.5 times faster, without losing quality, with the 2,400 nozzle-per-inch high definition printheads – making it easy to handle peak volumes and meet demanding deadlines. Productivity is also give a boost by the first-ever integrated vertical trimmer – which will give you post-processing labour savings of up to 20 percent. The powerful processing architecture and the Adobe PDF Print Engine mean that you’ll be able to hand the most complex files, while your operators will spend less time on media changes and adjustments due to dual roll support and automatic roll switching.

Simplicity, reimagined

Easy to design, easy to use! With the intuitive HP Applications Center, you’ll be able to quickly design posters, banners and canvas for your customers. The Z series also offer one-click printing with HP Click to reduce media wastage and with HP PrintOS, you’ll have remote visibility and control to better manage your production environment. High level security features such as HP SecureBoot, PIN printing and HP JetAdvantage Security Manager will keep your printers and workflow safe and secure.
