On Monday, 24th September 2018, two large lorries arrived at the Perfect Colours Innovations Centre in Sheffield. Each contained an exciting new grand format solution. One was an HP Latex 1500, which features a 3.2m print width, production speeds of up 74 sqm per hour and inkjet quality of 45 sqm per hour. The versatility of Latex technology is well known and the 1500 has the additional advantages of dual-roll functionality and the ability to print on a vast array of materials, including textiles and back lit films – all at an affordable price with low running costs.

No grand format workflow solution would be complete without a flatbed cutter, and the other lorry that swung into the Innovation Centre loading bay contained a brand new Summa flatbed F1832. As well as being one of the most robust and price-competitive flatbed cutters on the market, it’s also one of the most versatile – and the Innovation Centre machine features a router system and additional tools including a kiss cut tool, a tangential module, a crease cutting tool and a double edge cut out tool, among many others. The unit supports a 72” media width and is accompanied by the SummaFlex Pro and Packlib software.

These units will be up and running immediately and will available for live demonstrations from Monday, 1st October. Please call our sales team to arrange a bespoke demonstration, or visit us on one of our open days: 9th, 10th and 11th October, 8.00 am until 8.00 pm. As well as these exciting new machines, you’ll also be able to see the Jetrix LxiR320 3.2m roll-to-roll, the Jetrix KX7 and the KX6U-LED. Upstairs, we’ve got 1.6M print widths from Epson, the 80600, and Hewlett Packard, with the Latex 560, supported by a 54” Latex 315 Print and Cut. Aqueous printing is represented by the HP DesignJet Z6800 and Z6200, along with the Epson 10000, while the technical range includes the DesignJet T3500 and T830.

If you wish to see the new HP Latex 1500 or the Summa F1832, or any of the other solutions at the Perfect Colours Innovation Centre, please contact us for a bespoke demo, or visit us on one of our open days from 9th- 11th October 2018.
