How does large format printing work?
Once you have decided the type of product you want, you need to select a material to print on. There are many different surfaces such as metals, wood, PVC, vinyls, plastics, canvas, paper and fabrics that you can print on.
Once you have chosen your material and decided on the size, shape and design to be printed, the dimensions will be programmed into the printer to ensure precision and accuracy.
Working from the design provided, the printer will spray the ink to match the graphics exactly. Many large format printers have a rapid drying process, usually using UV lights, so you can use your printed material as soon as it is complete.
Depending on the nature of your business, you may choose to outsource your large format printing. However, if you regularly need printed materials on a larger scale, it may be cost effective to have a large format printer solely for your business.
