Canon updates its large-format offering
In a move to update its range of large format printers, Canon has launched a series of new printers, including the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-2100, the PRO-4100 and the PRO-6100. The high-performance upgrades deliver excellent quality printing with advanced image processing, making them ideal for photographic prints, striking graphics and exquisite fine art printing. Enhancements to both user and device security means that your data is protected, while automatic media handling means more uptime and better productivity.
The new imagePROGRAF printers
These new printers each upgrade one of the existing imagePROGRAF range. The PRO-2100 replaces the 24” PRO-2000, the PRO-4100 replaces the 44” PRO-4000 and the PRO-6100 is an upgrade for the 66” PRO-6000. One of the key new features for the range is a larger information display that will show what type of media is being used, and new basic command buttons for instantly loading, feeding and cutting.
Other features include:
- 12-colour LUCIO PRO pigment inks for hot colours and deep, rich blacks
- 2400 dpi maximum print resolution
- enhanced user and device security protects your data – you can set user print permissions and individual passcodes
- automatic media handling boosts productivity, can detect media type and estimates remaining media
- Professional Print software enables soft proofing, layout functions and pattern printing
