Bury St Edmunds-based firm Kall Kwik secured Business of the Year at the annual British Association for Print and Communication awards, an event celebrating excellence in the industry.
The accolade arrives near the end of a monumental year for the company, who after 20 years of residence moved out of its high street store to a new 3,000 sqm location in April.
From its humble beginnings in wide format printing, Kall Kwik has grown to become a specialist in marketing and promotional material. Stuart Green, managing director of Kall Kwik, previously told buryfreepress.co.uk that the transformation has been nine years in the making.
Speaking at the ceremony to printweek.com, Mr Green praised his backroom staff for their commitment to the cause.
"We like to think that we all do a good job, but it's nice when that is recognised by someone from outside of the business. This award is for the whole team at Bury St Edmunds, because it's down to their hard work and enthusiasm."
Canon was amongst the other winners on the night, scooping the Product of the Year award for its imagePress 7010VP. The model becomes the latest in Canon's line of printers that has been hailed by an industry association.
Fellow manufacturer Ricoh was also a winner on the night, collecting the prize for Supplier of the Year, whilst Park Lane Press was named Environmental Printer of the Year.
