It's been a wonderful year

From being crowned Masters at the Designjet academy to being the first UK reseller to close a deal on many of cutting-edge releases, we have definitely had a busy year at Perfect Colours! Read on to find out our proudest moments from 2015.

Perfect Colours installs the first PageWide XL 8000

In August we became the first reseller in the world to order a PageWide XL 8000 – and the first UK dealer to install it! We are also currently the only location in the country where customers can see the machine put through its paces.

Our team receives Master grade from HP Academy

Five of the Perfect Colours team were awarded the title of Master at the HP Designjet Production Academy. Our participants all scored more than 85 percent in their course, showing that they are able to provide high-quality advice to all of our customers. For us, it means we can trust our team to make the right choices you’re your installations. Having so many of our people certified to this level makes us the only reseller in the EMEA region that can offer comparable expertise.

Perfect Colours sells the UK’s first Latex 3500

We had the honour of supplying the UK’s first Latex 3500 to Surface Print. Not only is the new printer helping the company reduce the cost of its wall covering production, it’s also helping it grow into new application areas!

EFI picks Perfect Colours as dealer

This year saw Perfect Colours and EFI strike up a new strategic partnership. We now stock two of its hybrid large-format printers, the EFI H1625 and EFI VUTEk H2000. We’re now at the highest level of EFI’s partner network, meaning that we can service the machines as well as selling them. We now have a team of eleven engineers and a dedicated support hotline to ensure that our EFI customers have everything they could need to run their machines successfully.

Perfect Colours appointed as exclusive stockist of Choice Eco-Tran

In 2015 we became the exclusive UK and Ireland stockist of Choice Eco-Tran, a recyclable back-lit film from CMA Imaging. This material is designed for use with Latex machines and is perfect for companies that are looking to improve the environmental impact of their products.

Perfect Colours sells the UK’s first Scitex FB750

After FESPA 2015 in April, Edinburgh sign-making firm First Display became the first UK print house to invest in a new HP Scitex FB750. After being impressed by its rear-fed capabilities and rapid printing speeds, managing director Jamie Bowes sealed the deal with Darren Walker, regional director for northern territories at Perfect Colours.

Perfect Colours receives ‘Top Reseller Ranking’ in Western Europe

What a title! Our collection of awards grew once more this year as we were named the fastest growing HP Latex dealer in Europe. This accolade joins the many we’ve earned over the years, including Graphics Partner of the Year and System Sales Partner of the Year in 2014.

Perfect Office Wins Online Excellence Award

Finally, our stationery department, Perfect Office, was awarded the 2015 Superstat Online Excellence Award! The judges cited our commitment to clients and also recognised how much this side of our business had grown over the past year.

Overall, we’ve had an amazing year at Perfect Colours and cannot wait to see what the next one will bring. Stay tuned to hear about our plans for 2016!
