The DesignJet T1700 uses HP Secure Boot, whitelisting, an encrypted hard disk and further security features to enable you to protect your printer and your data from unauthorised access. Authentication solutions like PIN printing and card readers can be used to protect documents and preserve confidentiality, while you can secure your printer with HP JetAdvantage Security Manager. Even while you’re on the go, you can manage your printer remotely using HP Web Jetadmin.

Putting efficiency at the heart of printing

The new DesignJet T1700 features Adobe PDF drivers, which free up your computer immediately after sending the most complex files to print. Once received, the printer puts its powerful processing architecture and 128 GB memory and 500 GB HDD to use to handle the most complex files and print at up to 116 A1/D pages per hour. But all this complexity is made easy for the operator with HP Click printing software. And you’ll experience no interruptions during printing – the device comes with dual-roll options to reduce roll changes, for double the capacity or switching between paper types.

Accurate prints and precise colours

The T1700 prints bold images and bright colours on all types of paper, creating spectacular printouts using HP Bright Office Inks. Additionally, with an embedded Adobe PDF Print Engine, it will reproduce transparencies, layers, colour palettes and gradients for precise results. It also comes fully tuned with profiles to reproduce distinct shades of colour, using high density printheads that provide 2400 nozzles per inch, enabling 0.1% line accuracy.
