Introducing GoTx textile printing solutions

GoTx from pigment.inc is proving itself to be the go-to solution for direct digital printing onto textiles, including flag, banner, soft signage, fashion, swimwear, sportswear and soft furnishings – the fast, affordable solution that produces brilliant results.

Hailing from Australia but conquering the world, GoTx is a range of printers, fixation, calenders, heat presses, inks and coatings created specifically for printing direct to textiles. Their latest high-speed printers will print directly onto cotton – no water, no pre-treat, no washing and no steaming necessary – with print speeds of up to 200 m²/hr.

GoTx printers from Perfect Colours

GoTx printers are designed to provide uninterrupted mass decoration across a variety of textiles using either pigment ink, reactive or sublimation dyes. The patented media feeding system delivers minimal fabric shift and feed accuracy across the roll, without the need for sticky blanket systems, allowing for direct printing onto stretch fabrics. These printers are also available with inline horizontal fixation equipment and optional offline pre-treat stations.

These fast, high production printers come in widths of 2.6 metres – the GoTx 2260, powered by dual staggered Epson DX7 heads – and 1.9 metres – the GoTx 4190, with staggered quad Epson DX7 print heads. The degassed pressurized ink delivery system ensures correct ink delivery to the nozzle plates for uninterrupted printing, with drop sizes ranging from 4.5 pcl for lighter fabrics to 45 pcl for penetrating thicker fabrics. Production speeds can reach up to 200 m²/hr. For fastest printing, configure with dual CMYK, or for an increased colour gamut, add up to four additional colours including red, orange, violet and green. And GoTx offers the ultimate flexibility as every printer can run with reactive, pigment or sublimation ink sets for printing different fabrics.

To provide the full GoTx experience, Perfect Colours also carries GoTx pre-treatment and finishing equipment.

For best colour results and excellent fastness of pigment inks, correct pre-treatment of your fabric is recommended. The GoTx pre-treatment module does more than simply wet the material. A rotational dosing liquid drum applies a precise quantity of pre-treatment solution to the top surface of the fabric, without the underside getting wet. This means the fabric hand and weight doesn’t get changed by the production process. After pre-treatment, a quad zone horizontal fixation unit dries the fabric inline, so it’s immediately ready for printing.

The GoTx horizontal fixation units have been designed to run inline with the GoTx printers for powerful fixation of sublimation and pigment inks ­– seamless productivity made easy. The units use quad zone heater elemental plates below and above the media horizontally where the fabric is not touched during cure. The horizontal path provides better control and avoids smoke, steam or oil.
