Introducing the SureColor T-series - two new large format plotters

From September, Perfect Colours will be stocking Epson’s new T-series wireless printers – the 24-inch SC-T3100 and the 36-inch SC-T5100. Aimed at the engineering and architectural communities, the T-series of large format plotters offers speed, precision and reliability in ultra-sleek, compact design.

In a move aiming to serve a wider range of technical users, these two new printers have been designed for high-speed and ease of use. Both are available as desktop or floor-standing models and the pair will sit comfortably in the low-to-mid-range of the CAD plotter market. Their appeal is based on clean and compact design, high build quality and Epson’s trademark performance and reliability – with the ability to increase productivity for a wide range of industry professionals.

Applications

The SureColor T-series will make short work of printing blueprints, line drawings, signage and classroom posters, making it the ideal printer for architects, engineers, CAD, GIS, education, corporate, home and small office users. Versatility has been built in – the unique auto-switching functionality allows users to swap between large format roll paper and A4/A3 paper without having to touch the printer. This makes it perfect for small companies that need a multi-purpose printer with a small footprint.

Technology

By leveraging Epson’s PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead technology and Nozzle Verification technology to automatically detect and adjust nozzle condition, the T-series achieves the highest print speeds while producing accurate A1/E-size prints in just 31 seconds. The detail is precise and crisp, produced with commercial-grade reliability.

Featuring integrated wireless and Wi-fi Direct connectivity, users can print from any of their devices or use the printers’ own 4.3-inch colour LCD touchscreens – and the menus are simple and intuitive to use. The T-series use Epson’s next-generation high-capacity UltraChrome XD2 pigment inks for results that are durable and archivable with brilliant colour and sharp lines on virtually any kind of paper.
