Xerox Adaptive CMYK Plus Technology will work for the new Xerox PrimeLink C9065/C9070 Color Printers and for the Xerox Color C60/C70 Printer. It comes in the form of an accessory that allows printers to augment their traditional gamut of cyan, magenta, yellow and black.

This new adaptive technology enables the PrimeLink C9065/C9070 to expand its capabilities to printing with fluorescent, gold, silver, white and clear inks and varnishes, and for the C60/C70 to use metallics, white and clear. The eye-catching results can be used to enhance a wide range of applications, including greeting cards, flyers, invitations, posters, signage and business stationery.

Pushing the boundaries

According to Terry Antinora, Vice President and General Manager of Xerox Workplace Solutions, “The 2-in-1 capability of our print engine combined with the new technology allows printers to push past the boundaries of commodity print at a price point unmatched in the market.”

This development comes in the wake of the launch of the PrimeLink C9065/C9070 – new entry-level production printers that are designed to bridge the needs of both busy offices and small-scale production environments. Easy to operate via a 10” touchscreen, they come with a range of cloud and productivity apps that allow the user to automate tasks. With 270 ipm scanning and 70 ppm printing capabilities for high quality output, the PrimeLinks deliver best-in-class performance with 2400 x 2400 dpi colour image quality, excellent fine line detail and stunning colour transitions and colour accuracy.
