HP FB250 Magenta and HP FB250 Black ink underperforming

HP recently discovered that some batches of HP Scitex FB Inks (HP FB250 Magenta and HP FB250 Black) appear to be underperforming in certain circumstances where the ink may deteriorate from inadequate transport/storage conditions.

These Magenta & Black UV Ink Cartridges are used in the HP Scitex FB5X0 and FB7X0 Printers Series.

HP FB250 Magenta and HP FB250 Black Cartridge batches are referred to as “Potentially Impacted Ink”, HP's priority is to provide high quality products and work quickly to resolve quality issues when they arise. In this case HP has made changes in the ink manufacturing process to mitigate this issue going forward.

Cyan, Yellow, Light Cyan and Light Magenta ink cartridges are not affected by this issue.

HP has newly produced ink available to replace the impacted Ink.
