The inaugural InPrint Industrial Print Show will now take place in Hannover following a rejig, printweek.com reports.
The event, which was originally scheduled to take place in Cologne during 2013, has now been moved to Hannover and will take place between 8 - 10 April 2014 instead.
Organised by FM Brooks, the event is being billed as the first of its kind to dedicate the whole event to showcasing cutting-edge industrial print technologies. These look set to include inkjet screen and specialist large format printing technologies, from functional, technical printing to the new brace of 3D technology.
Manufacturers will then be introduced to innovators with brand new prototypes in the hope of taking these new, exciting technologies and putting them into mass-production. Representatives from the aeronautical, automotive, food and beverage, interior decor and pharmaceutical industries are expected to be in attendance at the event, among others.
Speaking to largeformatreview.com of the event, director of FM Brooks, Frazer Chesterman, enthused: "Ongoing research among inkjet and screen printing manufacturers confirms the need for a dedicated event that unleashes the exciting and innovative capabilities of print technology across a number of industries.
"We are delighted to be establishing such an event, but the fact we are co-locating with the Hannover Fair gives visitors to InPrint 2014 an additional reason to attend and adds significant impetus to our proposition."
