HP opens 2013 competition for Sign & Display Print Excellence Awards

HP is calling on all its customers to submit their entries for this year's Sign & Display Print Excellence Awards, reports largeformatreview.com.

Any product of a HP wide format printing machine can enter the competition, which has been set up to formally recognise exemplary large format graphics from across the world.

Winners from categories including vehicle graphics, retail and point-of-purchase applications are to be decided by a panel of regional experts, who will also hand out special recognition for examples of eco-friendly printing. 

The competition is free to enter for HP customers, who have until February 25 2013 to get creative and see exactly what their HP large format printers are capable of producing.

Cited by whattheythink.com, HP vice president and general manager Xavier Garcia said printer service providers are always looking of ways to show off their best work.

There's no better chance than with HP's awards programme, which not only provides the perfect opportunity for companies to set themselves apart from their peers, but also a chance to put their business in the spotlight.

Mr Garcia added: "The HP Sign & Display Print Excellence Awards programme is an opportunity for our customers to showcase how they are using HP Large Format solutions to create truly innovative work."
