The iPF8400 is designed for graphics arts professionals for up to 44” printing. This large format printer incorporates LUCIA EX, Canon’s innovative 12-colour pigment inkjet system with image processing technology that delivers a wide colour gamut, smooth graduations, less bronzing and highly scratch-resistant prints.
Users can rely on the iPF8400 for enhanced black reproduction and graduation expression in dark areas, resulting in the exceptional print quality required for photo print applications. The text and line accuracy, plus excellent colour harmony mean that the printer is perfect for high precision proofing applications.
The iPF8400 is compatible with ICC profile-based colour-management systems and will work seamlessly with third party RIP applications, supporting production, photography and proofing applications. The printer also supports a diverse range of media types.
The iPF8400 has a built-in 250GB hard disk, which enables highly efficient printing of complex jobs. Its “hot swap” 330ml or 700ml ink tanks mean that ink cartridges can be replaced without interrupting printing for maximum productivity.
