The optional performance package enables users to maintain top printing speeds even on 350 gsm heavyweight specialty material, without loss of colour or degradation meaning higher profits with more throughput. Colour inconsistency has been virtually eliminated in the Xerox Versant 80 Press with the development of Xerox’s Automated Color Quality Suite, ACQS takes the variability out of the colour equation by leveraging a full spectrum of colour management hardware and software tools—including an inline spectrophotometer—to calibrate, create and verify colour profiles automatically

Printing Ultra HD Resolution for stunning results is just the start, by combining our 2400 x 2400 dpi imaging resolution with up to 1200 x 1200 x 10-bit rendering resolution (four times more pixels than the digital press standard) for exceptionally fine details in graphic fills, sweeps, line art and text. Automated adjustment for reliable registration allows businesses to stake their reputation on the quality and accuracy of their work thanks to the Simple Image Quality and Adjustment Tool.

SIQA takes the trial and error guesswork out of perfect front-to-back alignment with sophisticated laser technology that generates dozens of reference points to account for paper surface anomalies, changes in humidity and other variables. The Xerox® Versant 80 Press also has an automated Image Transfer Adjustment, which effortlessly adjusts image transfers ensuring optimal quality on a variety of stocks, while page colour consistency is maintained with help from the Density Uniformity Adjustment.
